Modern vehicle electronics make heavy demands on your car battery and charging system. However, a flat battery doesn’t necessarily mean a dead battery. Often, a battery becomes drained as a result of a problem elsewhere, with the alternator or a drive belt, for example.

Check includes:

• Check battery secured in carrier and check battery terminals for security and cleanliness.
• Check electrical connections to starter, alternator, and ignition system and vehicle main earth.
• Check ribbed belt for damage and tension and adjust if necessary.
• Check battery fluid level and top up as required.*
• Carry out battery discharge test to check power capacity and check the voltage drop in the starter circuit
• Check regulator voltage output and alternator charging current
• Check lighting system, wipers and indicators for condition and functionality.
• Recharge battery.*
• Each check includes printout of battery condition and serviceability
